Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is continuing its golden run at the box office.
alman Khan and Katrina Kaif gave fans the perfect Eid blockbuster with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. The film has achieved the rare feat of bowling over the critics as well as the audience, and is currently galloping towards the Rs 200-crore milestone.
According to early estimates, Bharat earned around Rs 6.50 crore on Thursday, taking its total collection so far to around Rs 181.10 crore. The film, which released in 4700 screens across the country and more than 6000 screens worldwide, is the second highest-grossing Bollywood release of 2019 after Aditya Dhar’s war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike.
Fans from all generations have showered praise on Bharat, and Salman and Katrina were overwhelmed by the love. In a video shared on Salman’s Twitter account, he thanked the audience for accepting the film with open arms.
“Thank you. Aisa reaction bohot kum milta hai aur bohot kum filmon ko milta hai. Bharat ko mila hai. Actually, aap logon ne aisa reaction mere previous filmon ko bhi diya hai, so thank you very much,” he said in the clip.

Bharat, which depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man, also stars Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Tabu and Sonali Kulkarni in important roles.
